BLUNT INSTRUMENT (2022) - SHORT
SYNOPSIS
Out on a rural country road, Guy faces a dilemma. With his car stalled in the middle of nowhere, and possessing a hard guitar case, he appears tense, anxious and lost.
All that changes when Scarlett, a driver passing by, stops to aid Guy and his broken vehicle. At a first impression, Scarlett is welcoming towards this agitated drifter, hoping to supply him with any immediate demands to help with his journey.
But as the conversation continues, she can’t help but feel skeptical of this mysterious man: he’s unsure of his destination, has no knowledge of his own vehicle, and strangely, lacks any awareness of popular music.
Is Guy really a struggling musician? Is he telling the truth to Scarlett on who he is?
